COFFEE PROTECTION IN POUCHES
The largest threat to coffee is oxygen, which deprives coffee of its aroma. Because roasted coffee emits carbon dioxide, a one-way valve is placed in the packaging. It releases carbon dioxide from the bag, but prevents oxygen from entering it. This helps maintain the aroma and taste of the coffee. A nice advantage of our valves is that you can get smell the coffee by pressing on the packet.
An additional method of protection for coffee or tea is to use a resealable pouch (ziplock). They help keep products fresh and prevent accidental spillage.
